Unportraits
About to leave the house I looked briefly in the mirror and was caught off guard by my reflection. Between hat, sunglasses and mask, I wasn’t sure who it was staring at me, resembling “Invisible man.” Is a portrait still a portrait if you can’t see the face? The hilarious and terrifying absurdity of our times plus a desire to put something between myself and the world makes me want to explore this theme.
